PRIVATEER!

You are the son of a privateer, a pirate hunter, who's father has just been murdered by the pirate legend Captain Jack Arlin. Recruit your crew, trade goods at the market, and battle dastardly pirates in tactical ship-to-ship combat!

When sailing, the golden arrows represent another area of the map to explore, the blue arrows represent a port, and the green arrows represent a treasure waiting to be discovered!

This is my submission for the IGDB Beginner's Jam Summer 2023. This will be the first game I've ever completed and the first Jam I've participated in. It was made using RPG Maker MV.

There are still some wonky things I didn't have the time to iron out but I would like to polish it up after the Jam if enough people play. There is so much more that I wanted to add but just simply ran out of time.
